Hi Everyone,
I found this board and it seems to be very interesting. I have not really experienced paranormal activity. The closest interaction was through dreams. I lost my cat when I was in middle school (I grew up with him...he got sick, and the night of his passing I spent hours petting him and as hard as it was I eventually told him he could leave and I didn't want him to suffer)...He was older than me! The next morning my sister found that he had passed. He visited me two times in extremely vivid dreams where I would talk to him pet and hold him. It took me a while, but I realized that he came to me on the first anniversary of his death (I had forgotten but remembered that he passed in May and found the date written down in my journal). The same happened on the second anniversary, but since then the dreams stopped. I would wake up happy and crying at the same time and part of me wishes that they would continue, but I guess it just means that he is at peace. I hope people don't think I'm psycho for talking about my cat.
As for other activity, my grandmother grew up on a farm build on Indian land...they found arrowheads all over the place. There was an Indian man who would stand at the foot of my grandmother's bed when she would wake up in the middle of the night...I'm sure he scared her. I'm not sure if he left on his own or needed help. My grandma wasn't religious (that I know of) at that time.
It would be great to join this board, and learn more about the paranormal. I wish I could be open like some of you and experience it first hand!
Take care,
Kathy
