On "A Haunting," Echoes of the Past

In March 2005, Libby and Sean Johnson renovate an old, rundown home in Chester, Vermont. But shortly after moving in, strange noises fill the night. This episode October 5, 2007.
I think I've seen that GH episode several times now. About an hour ago, I watched A Haunting on YouTube with the same family. Wow ... what a difference!!
I had to laugh when the husband found the wife up in the attic pursing through the old photos " Let's keep this quiet ... we're new in town." I guess no one ever watches the SciFi or Discovery channels in Vermont. I found the differences in the stories interesting. Nothing was said on GH about the photos or documents found in the attic and nothing was said on AH about the young boy who had died in the house which was revealed on GH. Also, the wife never mentioned the Civil War solders that were haunting the house on TAPS. Makes you wonder ... I kept thinking what a jump, from TAPS to psychic Wiccans, especially since the wife said she was very science orientated and wasn't even a believer in souls. Lastly, the actors they found to play the part of the psychic Wiccans must of been extras in the movie " Night of the Living Dead"... they were seriously creepy.
Since it's apparently oblivious that I'm in a grumpy mood ( I've been working on taxes all afternoon) my final thoughts are that since they stated twice on AH that not all the ghosts had left the house, that dimes to donuts, the Johnson family will try to recoup their $200,000 remodeling costs by opening a haunted B&B. They certainly had plenty of free advertising.
Elphie.
